There are hundreds of ways you can
help Kindred Spirits, in addition to those already listed. We can use
people to:

Print tri-fold flyers for
us. These are easier to hand out and look more professional than the
8-1/2 x 11 stapled handouts we currently use.

Place our notecards for sale at
your place of business.

Go around to various businesses
to ask for donations of supplies, gift cards, services, or monies. We
have neither the time (nor the personality!) to do so ourselves. There
are tons of businesses in our county, and if even just a few would donate,
it would be so helpful.

Hold a fundraiser for us.
Car wash, bake sale, book sale, yard sale...use your imagination. Just
contact us so we can work out the details.

Collect acorns and other nuts
for our patients (primarily our bear cubs). Every fall we need folks
to gather acorns, as well as purchase in-shell nuts to get the baby bears
through the winter months. Please contact us in advance for the proper
way to collect and store the nuts, as well as how to get them to us.

Set up a table outside of a
business one Saturday or Sunday, and sell Kindred Spirits fundraiser items.

Get your school, church, or
civic group involved in a supply drive. Whether it's paper towels,
canned fruit, baby food, baby wipes, or any other item from our supply
list, put out a big box with a sign explaining what you are collecting
and why. Then, when the box is full, give us a call and we'll arrange
for you to get the items to us.

Celebrating a birthday or
anniversary or other special occasion? Instead of gifts, ask your
friends and family to make a donation to Kindred Spirits in your
honor. Not only will they receive a tax receipt, thank you note, and
photo of one of our patients, but you will receive a card and photograph as
well.

Give a donation to Kindred
Spirits in lieu of a purchased gift for any occasion - birthday,
anniversary, Christmas, graduation. The gift recipient will receive a
card acknowledging your kindness (of course, the amount is never revealed),
as well as a photo of one of our patients. You will receive a thank
you note and tax receipt as well.

Have a special talent or own
your own business? Raffle an item for Kindred Spirits' benefit.
Donate a % of profits to us for the sale of a particular item or total sales
for a certain day. Just let us know so we can spread the news to all
our animal friends.

Hosting a baby shower for a
friend? Ask each guest to bring a couple of baby items for Kindred
Spirits newborns as well (baby food, baby wipes, etc.).
