There are hundreds of ways you can
help Kindred Spirits, in addition to those already listed. We can use
people to:

Print flyers. We can e-mail you a master and then
you make as many color or black and white pamphlets as you can.

Offer our notecards or other
smaller items for sale at
your business.

Approach various businesses
for donations of supplies, gift cards, services, or monies. We
don't have the time to do so ourselves. There
are lots of businesses in our county, and if even just a few would donate,
it would be so helpful. In our >20 year history, we have not had any
businesses supporting our work, even though we help companies all the time
with wildlife issues.

Hold a fundraiser for us.
Car wash, bake sale, book sale, yard sale...use your imagination. Just
contact us in advance so we can work out the details.

Collect hickory nuts, pecans,
English walnuts, hazel nuts, Brazil nuts, or almonds
for our patients (primarily our bear cubs). Every fall we need folks
to gather nuts from their trees and/or purchase in-shell nuts to get the baby bears
and other patients through the winter months. Please contact us in advance for the proper
way to collect and store the nuts.

Set up a table outside a
business one Saturday or Sunday, and sell Kindred Spirits fundraiser items.

Get your school, church, or
civic group involved in a supply drive. Whether it's paper towels,
canned fruit, baby food, baby wipes, or other items from our supply
list, put out a big box with a sign explaining what you are collecting
and why. Then, when the box is full, give us a call and we'll arrange
the best way to get the items to us.

Celebrating a birthday,
anniversary or other special occasion? Instead of gifts, ask your
friends and family to make a donation to Kindred Spirits in your
honor.

Give a donation to Kindred
Spirits in lieu of a purchased gift for any occasion - birthday,
anniversary, Christmas, graduation. The gift recipient will receive a
card acknowledging your kindness (of course, the amount is never revealed),
as well as a personal letter explaining their gift and our work. You will receive a thank
you note and tax receipt as well.

Have a special talent or own
your own business? Raffle an item for Kindred Spirits' benefit.
Donate a % of profitsfor the sale of a particular item or total sales
for a certain day. Just let us know so we can spread the news to all
our animal friends.

Hosting a baby shower for a
friend? Ask each guest to bring a couple of baby items for Kindred
Spirits newborns as well (baby food, baby wipes, etc.).
