If you would like to be added to the mailing list
for "Nature News," please send us your name and mailing address
(snail mail, not e-mail). Nature News comes out three times a year and
is free for the asking. While not a Kindred Spirits' publication per se,
it often features information about upcoming Kindred Spirits events.
Dana has been writing Nature News for the Burlington Recreation and Parks
Department since 1989. It is chock full of wildlife, environmental, and
animal articles. Each issue features "Animal Close-Up" (a
bird, mammal or other creature in our area of North Carolina); "Kids'
Page" especially for the younger set (though we've had many adults who
admit to enjoying it as well); "Musings From the Country" (Dana's
personal column where she writes on all kinds of subjects with her own
brand of humor and insight) and lots of fascinating information you won't find
just anywhere.
Although written for the North Carolina audience,
it has much information of nationwide interest. It is geared toward animal-loving,
environmentally-minded, nature-oriented folks. If that sounds like you,
